Niamh sent me this photo of her from (we think) 2011. She looks so young and is casting such a look of love towards Max.

Everything shifts up a gear as music channels are starting to switch to Christmas versions. Already lost this year’s Whammageddon, having heard Last Christmas on one of them. 

Also we are starting to see the adverts… Already a favourite is the new #KevinTheCarrot storyline from Aldi – #SaveKevin So many great elements, not least the CocaCola Truck reference

Once again one of the first big Christmas ‘to do’ lists has opened. This morning we visited the magical Christmas Shop at Botany Bay. Just a wonderful place to be…

There is a major fire on Winter Hill just five miles or so south of here. On a hot summer’s day, with crystal clear blue skies, this could be mistaken for clouds but it isn’t. If the smoke is this bad, the firefighters must be having a nightmare.time up there.

And two and a half more days of school… ?
